Apple Butter Doughnut Dessert Recipe |
Apple Butter Doughnut Ingredients:- 1/2 cup grated Apple
- 1½ cups Flour
- 1¾ teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/3 cup Butter
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup Milk
Doughnut Coating: - 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter melted

Apple Butter Doughnut Instructions:- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine together 1½ cups of flour, 1¾ teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/3 cup of butter and mix until crumbly.
- Beat 1 egg and add 1/4 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of grated apple.
- Tip the egg mixture into the flour mixture and mix until it has the consistency of donut batter.
- Use Pam to spray the muffin pans.
- Place in oven and bake. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for small donuts, 20 to 25 minutes for large donuts.
- Dip donuts in butter whilst they're still warm and shake in mixture of 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
