Apple Fritter Dessert Recipe |
Apple Fritter Ingredients:- 3/4 cup chopped peeled Tart Apple
- 1 cup Cake Flour
- 3/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Egg
- 1/3 cup Milk
- 4 teaspoons Butter - melted
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Orange Juice
- 2 teaspoons grated Orange Peel
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Oil - for frying
- Confectioners Sugar

Apple Fritter Instructions:- Combine flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.
- Beat egg and milk together in another bowl then mix in the apple, butter, sugar, orange juice, peel and vanilla.
- Pour the egg mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just moistened.
- Heat 1/4 inch of oil to 375° in an electric skillet.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of batter into oil and fry until they appear golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Lightly coat with confectioners' sugar.
- Serve warm.
