Apple Jelly Dessert Recipe
Apple Jelly Ingredients: 5 lb Apples 12 Whole Cloves 8 cups Water 8 cups Sugar	Time: N/A Pints: 8
Apple Jelly Instructions: Wash apples and cut into quarters - do not core or peel them. Place the quarters in a large ovenproof dish and add water. Cover the dish with aluminium foil then place at the bottom of the oven at 225 degrees and cook overnight. The following day, strain through a jelly bag. Carefully pour the liquid into a large saucepan adding a cupful of sugar for every cupful of liquid. Heat the liquid to dissolve the sugar then bring to the boil for 10 minutes or until a small amount of the mixture gels on a cold saucer. Be careful not to over boil the liquid as this will produce a syrup which will get thicker and will not set. Pour into jars which have been previously warmed in the oven and cover with waxed discs and lids.
Apple Jelly Cooking Time: Cook over night.
Apple Jelly Serving Instructions: Serve with Cream, Ice Cream.
