Low Fat Apple Dessert Recipe |
Low Fat Apple Ingredients:- 1½ cups Quick Cooking Oats
- 1 tablespoons Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 3/4 cup Apple Juice
- 2 Large Apple - peeled, sliced thin
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1/3 cup Cold Water
- 1 Package Gelatin - unflavored
- 2 cup non Fat Yogurt
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract

Low Fat Apple Instructions:- Prepare a pie plate with cooking spray.
- Mix oats and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon in a small bowl then toss with 1/4 cup of apple juice.
- Take this mixture and press onto bottom of the pie plate then bake for 5 minutes or until set. Allow to cool.
- Toss apple slices with lemon juice in a mixing bowl and arrange on cooled crust in pan and set to one side.
- Mix water and remaining 1/2 cup apple juice in a small saucepan then sprinkle gelatin over water mixture, allow to stand for 3 minutes until softened.
- Place over a medium heat and stir until the gelatin has completely dissolved.
- Remove from heat then add yogurt, honey, remaining cinnamon and almond extract then blend well together.
- Pour this mixture over apples in crust.
- Chill for several hours or overnight before serving.
