Diabetic Apple Dessert Recipe |
Diabetic Apple Ingredients:- 2 slice Dry Bread
- 1 tablespoon Diet Margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Allspice
- 3 cup Apples - cored, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 3/4 cup Dietetic Maple Syrup
|  Time: 1 hour Serves: 6

Diabetic Apple Instructions:- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Make crumbs from the slices of bread then toast in oven.
- Combine the toasted crumbs with margarine, cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon allspice.
- Combine apples with lemon juice, maple syrup and remainder of allspice then spread in a greased 8 inch shallow baking dish. Cover with crumb mixture.
- Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or until apples have softened.
- Serve warm.
