Easy Apple Dumpling Dessert Recipe

Easy Apple Dumpling Ingredients:
  • 2 Large Apples - peeled, cored, quartered
  • 1 -  8oz package refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
  • 1/4 cup Golden Raisin
  • 2/3 cup Water
  • 1/3 cup Butter
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Easy Apple Dumpling Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Take crescent rolls and unroll separating at perforations.
  • Use your fingers to fold and flatten the pastry to make each portion a 4 inch square.
  • Take 1/2 tablespoon of raisins and sprinkle in the middle of the square. Cover with an apple quarter, placing cut side down.
  • Fold the edges of the pastry up sealing together the seams using your fingers.
  • Place in a 7x11 inch baking dish seam side down.
  • Combine water and butter in a 2 cup glass measuring cup and microwave for 1 to 2 minutes at maximum power until the butter has melted and water is hot.
  • Stir in sugar and vanilla then pour over dumplings in dish.
  • Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
  • Place in oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown and apples have softened.
  • Serve hot.
