Best Apple Pie Ingredients:- 8 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored, sliced
- 1 recipe for a 9 inch double Crust Pie Pastry
- 115g Unsalted Butter
- 25g All-Purpose Flour
- 60ml Water
- 100g White Sugar
- 110g Packed Brown Sugar
|  Time: 1 hour 30 min Serves: 8

Best Apple Pie Instructions:- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour to make a paste then add the water, white sugar and brown sugar and bring to a boil. Lower the temperature and allow to simmer.
- Put the bottom crust in the pan then fill it with apples, mounded slightly then cover over with a lattice work of crust.
- Slowly pour the sugar and butter mixture over the crust.
- Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Lower the temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 35 to 45 minutes until the apples soften.

- Allow to cool a little before serving.
