Cranberry Apple Recipe

Cranberry Apple Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 large tart cooking apples cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
  • 1 large butternut squash, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (half a stick) butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mace

Cranberry Apple Recipe Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Peel the squash and apples then slice.
  • Place the squash cubes in an un-greased 7x11 inch baking dish. Arrange the apples on top first and then the cranberries.
  • Combine together the flour, salt, sugar and mace then sprinkle on top. Dot with butter.
  • Place in oven and bake for 50-60 minutes.
Cranberry Apple Recipe Cooking Time:
  • Baking time 50 - 60 minutes.
  • Allow to cool a little before serving.
Cranberry Apple Recipe Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Cream, Ice Cream, or Custard.
