Diabetic Apple Pie Recipe

Diabetic Apple Pie Recipe Ingredients:
  • Pastry for 2 Crust 9" pie
  • 7 Large Apples - peeled, cored, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Fruit Sweetener
  • 1/4 cup Frozen Apple Juice Concentrate
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Fructose
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Margarine

Diabetic Apple Pie Recipe Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Line pie bottom with pastry.
  • Combine together all ingredients except margarine in a large bowl, mixing well before spooning into the pastry lined pan. Dot with margarine.
  • Cover with top crust then seal and flute the edges. Make several small slits in the crust.
  • Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes or until the crust appears golden brown.

  • Baking time is 40 minutes or until the crust appears golden brown.
  • Allow to cool a little before serving.
