Banoffee Pie Recipe

Banoffee Pie Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1½ cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 10 tablespoons Butter - softened
  • 2 (14oz) cans Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 Large Bananas
  • 1½ cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/3 cup Confectioners' Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Banoffee Pie Recipe Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs with softened butter then press this mixture into a 9 inch pie plate.
  • Place in oven and bake for 5 to 8 minutes.

    To make the toffee filling:
  • Reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees F.
  • Caramelize the sweetened condensed milk then pour it into a 9x12x2 inch glass baking dish.
  • Cover the dish with foil then place it inside a larger poaching pan. Add water to the poaching pan until it is half way up the sides of the baking dish.
  • Place in oven and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Allow the crust and toffee filling to cool then evenly spread half of the filling inside the crust. Slice the bananas then arrange them on top of the filling in layers.
  • Spread the remainder of the filling over the bananas evenly.
  • Whip together the cream with the confectioners' sugar and vanilla then spread over the toffee filling and bananas.
