Best Recipe for Blackberry Pie Ingredients:
  • 575g Fresh Blackberries
  • 100g White Sugar
  • 60g All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch Double Crust Pie
  • 30ml Milk
  • 50g White Sugar

Time: 55 min
Serves: 8

Best Recipe for Blackberry Pie Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425 degree F.
  • Mix together 3½ cups berries, sugar and flour then spoon this mixture into an unbaked pie shell.
  • Spread the remaining berries on top of the sweetened berries then cover with the top crust. Seal and crimp the edges. Brush the top crust with milk then sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Lower the temperature to 375 degrees F and continue to bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

  • Baking time 35 - 40 minutes
  • Allow to cool a little before serving
