Basic Blueberry Pie Filling
Dessert Recipe

Basic Blueberry Pie Filling Ingredients:
  • 4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoon cornstarch or 6 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Dutch Apple Pie Recipe
Time: 30 min
Serves: 4 - 6

Basic Blueberry Pie Filling Instructions:
  • Combine dry ingredients in saucepan.
  • Add water gradually.
  • Bring to a boil, add blueberries and cook 3 or 4 minutes until clear and thickened,
    stirring constantly but carefully to prevent berries from crushing.
  • Remove from heat, add lemon juice.
Basic Blueberry Pie Filling Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 15 minutes.
Basic Blueberry Pie Filling Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Cream, Ice Cream, or Custard.
  • Can be served Hot or cold
