Blueberry Drop Cookies

Blueberry Drop Cookies Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup blueberries

Blueberry Drop Cookies Instructions:
  • Cream sugar and shortening.
  • Add egg and beat well.
  • Mix milk and lemon extract.
  • Add alternately with dry ingredients (previously stirred together).
  • Gently add berries.
  • Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
     
  • Also can use almond flavouring instead of lemon extract.
Blueberry Drop Cookies Cooking Time:
  • Cooking time 12 - 15 minutes.
  • Leave to cool before serving.
Blueberry Drop Cookies Serving Instructions:
  • Great with Ice Cold Milk or Tea and Coffee.
