Cake Recipe

Cake Recipe Ingredients:
  • 100g Butter
  • 100g Caster Sugar
  • 100g Self Raising Flour
  • Vanilla Essence
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 Medium Eggs

Dutch Apple Pie Recipe

Serves: 4

Cake Recipe Instructions:
  • Beat together the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until the texture is smooth and creamy.
     
  • Beat the eggs in a cup then gradually add them to the mixture, with the flour, ensuring the the same smooth and creamy texture is maintained and that the mixture does not become either too wet or too dry once all the flour and eggs have been added.
     
  • Add a pinch of salt and the vanilla essence to the mixture, then mix well for a couple of minutes.
     
  • Place the mixture into non-stick cake tin.
     
  • Place in the middle of a Preheated oven at 190°C for 20-25 minutes.
     
  • Place on a rack and allow to cool.

  • Serve cake with jam, fresh cream or ice cream.
