Oatmeal Cookie Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup Butter
  • 1/3 cup Lightly packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Warm water
  • 3/4 cup Flour
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Quick Rolled Oats
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda

Oatmeal Cookie Instructions:
  • Mix butter and sugar together thoroughly then mix in water.
  • Put the 1/4 cup flour for rolling aside.
  • Stir together the remaining dry ingredients.
  • Now stir them into the creamed mixture.
  • Add the remaining flour gradually to the dough until it is stiff enough to roll.
  • Divide the dough into 3 pieces about the same size.
  • Roll each piece of dough out about 1/8 inch thick.
  • Cut into 12 pieces or use cookie cutter.
  • Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F about 10 minutes or until a light golden brown colour around the edges.
  • Remove from then oven and leave to cool.
Oatmeal Cookie Cooking Time:
  • Cooking Time 10 minutes.
  • Leave to cool before serving.
Oatmeal Cookie Serving Instructions:
  • Serve with Tea or Coffee.
  • Serve with a nice glass of Ice Cold Milk.
