Shortbread Cookie Dessert Recipe |
Shortbread Cookie Ingredients:- 1/4 cup Confectioners Sugar
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 1/2 Sticks butter - refrigerated, cut into 10 pieces
- 2 1/2 cup All purpose flour

Shortbread Cookie Instructions:- Heat the oven to 275F.
- Place sugars in food processor and process until very fine then add butter and pulse until sugar disappears.
- Add flour then pulse until no dry flour particles are left.
- the mixture should be moist and crumbly, Now place mixture plastic bag.
- press together to form dough; knead lightly until dough holds together.
- Remove from bag. Shape dough into i-inch balls.
- Place on unbuttered cookie sheets 2 inches apart. Flatten each with a cookie press, fork. or the bottom of a glass lightly moistened with water. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour or until pale golden. Remove from cookie sheets.
- Leave to cool completely on wire racks.

Shortbread Cookie Cooking Time:- Cooking time 1 hour.
- Store in a Cookie Jar.
